Please ensure you have read through the information page for the grant program and the proposal life cycle.
We aim to onboard teams around the 1st and the 15th of the month.
All proposals will need to undergo a thorough review process before being approved and funded. Feedback will be provided to team on multiple occasions to improve the proposal.
Preliminary screening is carried out by Mina Foundation. This will ensure proposal has all the required information to evaluate and meets quality standards. We will reach out to teams in case we require more information/clarifications.
The second screening is carried out by the Navigators Exploration team, which will provide feedback related to architecture, feasibility, and product. If the proposal is found to have merit, we will progress this proposal to Under Consideration status and post it on mina-research forums, else the proposal will be rejected.
<aside> 🚨 Please note, moving to Under consideration, does not guarantee funding.

The refinement phase (Under consideration) will require teams to be active on the forum to address any feedback from the second screening and any issues raised by the community and the Exploration team. A minimum of 10 days will be provided to this phase for comments from the community. The refinement phase can include changes to proposal architecture, milestones, or funding.
If there are no outstanding issues, the NExT can approve the proposal, at which stage, the teams will be invited to build.
The refinements & approval phase could potentially be longer if any outstanding issues are not resolved. We would be flexible in starting teams a few days on either side of the mentioned dates to avoid delays.
If the proposal is not found suitable for funding, we will aim to write back to the teams within 3 weeks of submission.
